Uncover the Truth is a campaign primarily found in the High Schools. It is designed to generate conversation and correct misperceptions and create positive population-change. It is based around Positive Community Norms. Positive Community Norms (PCN) is a prevention strategy based on the fact that positive exists in the community and is worth highlighting and growing. Social norms marketing campaigns have been proven to be effective in reducing high-risk behavior and in reducing misperceptions.
At this time, Uncover the Truth is found in the Wayzata High School. We are working to bring this campaign to other schools within the Plymouth, Wayzata, Orono, Medicine Lake area. The data used for these campaigns was taken from the 2016 Minnesota Student Survey and a survey of Wayzata High School Students. Our goal is to compile new data this year and utilize the 2019 Minnesota Student Survey.
