Creating Lasting Change: Getting Past the First Step
What is the first step to making changes in our personal lives? Awareness. Without awareness, personal change cannot occur. However, simply being aware of the changes we need to make does not create that change. Change is a progression that requires discipline and fearless reflection. Addiction counselor Joannie Reckard will guide us in taking that next step toward change and beginning to "rewire" our brains. You will learn techniques to create healthier patterns of thought, emotion and behavior, and to foster stronger connections.
